I found a teacher page at an elementary school called Heathrow elementary. This was a third grade classroom which had 2 teachers, an English and Social Studies teacher and a Math and Science teacher. Some information contained on this website was a little introduction about themselves. They also included an area where you could find websites that students could use that are helpful for learning. They also included basic information like when homework is due and where it will be written and the daily schedules. They also have a link where parents can sign up and be volunteers in the classroom. Classroom website 

I envision myself using a lot of technology in the classroom. I love being crafty so I think I will use many different platforms. My first example is classdojo. I can keep track of a point system in my classroom so students can be rewarded for good behavior. I can use Khan academy to make sure students are on track and students can use it to get extra practice. I can use prezi to make interactive lessons with my students to make sure I know they are listening during a lesson. Lastly I can use canvas (hopefully the school district i am in uses it!) to make sure they know what we are doing for the week and send no reminders to students so they can remember things I told them in class. 

Canvas has been around with me for as long as I can remember. I have always loved using canvas and it has always been a great platform. Working on assignment 2 was very helpful on canvas. I liked how you can create groups on canvas. I didn't know you could do that. I think it was hard at first to communicate with the group but it became better after we made a group me. I thought it was nice we could each work on things in cavas and it would save it and make it easier so not one person has to do it all. I thought it was pretty easy to figure out. It didn't take me long to find out how to edit the page. There isn’t anything I can say I didn’t like about assignment 2 on canvas. I thought it was set up very well. I could use canvas with future students to post assignments and even send out reminders for things in the classroom. I think it is a great way to communicate with students.
